Week beginning Monday 13th May 2019

Miss Burns, our teaching student is now finished in our class. We wish her well as she moves on to begin her teaching career.

Outdoor learning continues this Thursday afternoon with Mr Miller. Please be prepared to go out in any weather.

Our class assembly is on Friday at 1.30pm. Lots of our class time this week will be spent preparing for it.

Letter Sounds

We have now completed all the letter sounds. Homework will now be spelling/word making which will be given home on a Monday and should be completed by Friday. Instructions are in the homework books.

Word pot words have been taken out so the word making cards can be kept in the word pots. You may also want to use the word pot for the letter sound cards for the week.

Common Words

Please keep revising word walls 1-4.

Words for this week are only and old. Please complete the common word homework for Thursday.  Your child should write the number after counting the words together and also try to write the words.

The children will get 2 new books this week on Monday and Thursday.
