How to Explain Anxiety to your Child

The Priory Group, a provider of mental health care in the UK was in touch with us and provided us with the following information.

“Our child and adolescent psychiatrist Dr Hayley van Zwanenberg recently put together a resource for parents on how to talk to children about anxiety. The resource contains a series of cartoon illustrations to help parents clearly explain to their child why anxiety can happen, when it can happen and what children should do if they become anxious.

As many young people will be feeling more anxious than usual at the minute, I thought I’d share the resource with you.”
