Growing Resources

Dear Parents / Carers,

At school, we are going to share with each other memories about when we were very young, as part of our lesson called “I am growing”.

Please could you spend some time looking at photos of your child when they were little and tell them a bit about when the photos were taken and where.

Please would you choose one of them and let them take it into school in time for Friday (06-02-15) to share with the class. It will be brought back safely when they have finished.

Thank you for your help and co-operation.

Miss Joyce

More Ice Experiments!

Our second Science lesson about ice was just as much fun as the first!

We used pipettes and beakers to help us with our investigation.

This week we explored the effects of salt on ice. We discovered that salt lowers the freezing point of water and our ice blocks melted in an interesting way. We used watery paint to see the holes, crevasses and patterns made by the salt.
